Check out what the biggest stars on Saigon Heat keep in their training backpacks

Nguyen Huynh Phu Vinh, the power forward of the 2022 VBA winner, recently shared what he carries in his backpack to training sessions.

While Vinh’s backpack contained common items like basketball shoes, a water bottle, towels, a laundry bag, an extra T-shirt, and whey protein powder, many fans were surprised to also see muscle relaxers, manual massage tools, and resistance bands.

Similar to Phu Vinh, center and captain Tim Waale, or Dinh Khai Tam, also keeps warm-up equipment and massage tools in his training backpack, including a heavy-duty rubber band and foot massage ball.

Both Phu Vinh, who was part of the national 5×5 men’s basketball team that competed in the 2022 FIBA Asia preliminary round in Mongolia from November 10-14, and Tim Waale contributed to the Saigon Heat’s three VBA triumphs in 2019, 2020, and 2022.

Saigon Heat assistant coach Vu The Cang said that his must-have training equipment includes whistles, stopwatches, whiteboards, and cones.

Also inside his backpack are devices and equipment for recording such as a tripod, laptop, and speaker.

These recording devices help The Cang’s players review what they practiced as well as share their training sessions with fans.

Honoring Tet traditions of 54 ethnic groups at Spring Fair 2024

Attendees will have the opportunity to view dragon-themed paintings and a collection of ceramics featuring dragon motifs, created by local artisans. In addition, visitors can explore various ceramic works from renowned craft villages in the northern region, such as Huong Canh in Vinh Phuc province, Chu Dau in Hai Duong province, and Giang Cao in Hanoi. The spring fair will also feature traditional cultural activities including calligraphy, tea making, and folk games. The event will showcase a variety of items for the Lunar New Year festival, including flowers, ornamental plants, and specialty products such as fresh fruit from the Mekong Delta, tea from the northern mountainous area, and fish sauce from the southern region. Furthermore, the week-long event will kick off with art performances in celebration of the 94th founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam on February 3. Examining the Gold Imperial Seal of the Nguyen Dynasty’s Return to Vietnam

According to the Department of Cultural Heritage, the gold seal is 10.4 centimetres high, weighs 10.78 kilograms, and measures 13.8×13.7 cm. The treasure is an important cultural heritage symbolising political power during a period in Vietnamese history, marking the transition from monarchy to modern democracy in the Ho Chi Minh era. The seal was cast in 1823 under the reign of King Minh Mang, the second emperor of the Nguyen Dynasty, who ruled from 1820 till his death in 1841. The Nguyen Dynasty, which ruled from 1802 to 1945, was the last monarchy in Vietnamese history. It crafted and put into use more than 100 seals, often cast in gold, silver, or precious jade. Currently, the National Museum of History is storing and preserving 85 precious jade seals of the Nguyen Dynasty.
