Vietnam - Switzerland Need to Boost Exchange Among Young People

Speaking at the meeting, Marius Kach thanked VUFO for welcoming him to its headquarters and to Vietnam and expressed his affection for Vietnam and his impression on his first visit to Vietnam.

As a young representative from the Swiss – Vietnam Friendship Association – VUFO’s partner in Bern, Switzerland, he wishes to cooperate with VUFO to organize visits to Vietnam for young members of the Swiss Friendship Association. – Vietnam and young Swiss love Vietnam, thereby contributing to the cooperation relationship between the two countries.

Sharing the view, Nguyen Thi Thu Giang, Head of the European Commission, VUFO, proposed to hold regular exchanges between Vietnamese and Swiss youth, especially in the culture and economy in order to enhance mutual understanding, inherit and develop the friendly and cooperative relationship between the two peoples.

Established in 1982, the Swiss-Vietnamese Friendship Association has made positive contributions to enhancing mutual understanding between the two peoples, especially in introducing Vietnam to the Swiss people.

In Vietnam, the Association has implemented many projects to overcome the consequences of war, eradicate hunger and poverty, and improve cultural and spiritual life in remote and ethnic minority areas. The Association has also contributed to teaching Vietnamese and promoting people-to-people relations between the two countries, especially between the young generations.

Vietnam: The Top Destination for Russian Tourists

Photo: vnreport.vn Fun&Sun, a leading travel company based in Russia, has recently launched a flight program to Cam Ranh in the southcentral province of Khanh Hoa. Flights operated by Scat Airlines include a stopover in Almaty, Kazakhstan. The first flights have achieved almost 80% of capacity, indicating strong demand. “Demand is at a similar level as 2022, but with a higher demand for the New Year period. Most tourists opt for tours ranging from 9 to 16 nights. The top 3 resorts requested are Nha Trang, Mui Ne, and Phan Thiet, similar to last year,” said Fun&Sun. During the last winter season, Fun&Sun sent approximately 3,000 Russian tourists to Vietnam. Russian Express reported a 30% increase in sales of tours to Vietnam compared to last year. Vietnam contestant finishes fourth at Miss Globe 2022

As well as securing the title, she was also awarded the Best National Costume sub-title thanks to her outfit inspired by the sea and pearls which aimed to popularize a message of efforts needed to overcome all challenges in life. Ultimately, Anabel Payano of the Dominican Republic was crowned Miss Globe 2022. The other runner-up titles went to the contestants from the United Arab Emirates, Albania, and Thailand, respectively. Hailing from Ba Ria – Vung Tau province, Lam Thu Hong, 27, stands at 1.73 metres tall, weighs 52kg, and measures 88-59-92. In 2018 she finished among the Top 5 of Miss Sea Vietnam Global. She prepared over 40 outfits for Miss Globe 2022, however she faced troubles after her luggage was lost for seven days. Miss Globe is one of the largest eight annual beauty pageants in the world.
